A law firm seeks a highly skilled securities attorney to join its Investment Funds Group in Seattle, WA. This professional-track (non-partnership) position is aimed at an attorney with in-depth experience in structured securities offerings, particularly within the commercial real estate sector. The selected candidate will represent a broad client base, including REITs, public and private real estate companies, and institutional investors, across various transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, complex financings, and property developments.

Duties:

  • Lead and manage structured securities offerings, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and alignment with client goals.
  • Represent clients in diverse real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, restructurings, complex financings, and property development projects.
  • Provide strategic legal guidance on real estate finance and investment structuring to enhance client portfolios.
  • Collaborate with clients, partners, and multidisciplinary teams to streamline transaction processes.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support sophisticated financial transactions and ensure regulatory adherence.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience managing structured securities offerings, with a focus on commercial real estate law.
  • Expertise in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and best practices for structuring real estate investments.
  • Prior experience with a reputable law firm, preferably within the AmLaw 100.
  • Licensed to practice law in Washington.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar.
