Job Title: Mid-Level Commercial Leasing Attorney

Location: Dallas, TX

Job Overview: A prominent law firm is actively seeking a talented attorney with at least 3 years of experience in commercial leasing to become a vital part of its Real Estate Group. This role presents an opportunity to engage in meaningful legal work while contributing to a collaborative environment.

Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate commercial leases and associated agreements, including term sheets, letters of intent, work letters, and SNDAs.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, opposing counsel, brokers, and other relevant parties.
  • Manage deliverables, respond to correspondence, and handle phone calls efficiently.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality legal work.
  • Meet deadlines and performance expectations consistently.
  • Foster and maintain positive professional relationships.
  • Adhere to all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both sedentary and physical activities, including prolonged computer use and participation in virtual meetings.
  • Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
  • Admission to practice law in Texas.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related agreements.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the commercial leasing market and lease-related issues.
  • Experience with various property types, including office, retail, industrial, and life sciences.
  • Strong representation skills for landlords.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Quick, efficient production of legal work that aligns with client objectives.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
