Job Overview: A law firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL, seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Nursing Home/Assisted Living Facility Attorney. The ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials and have a strong background in handling cases related to nursing home and assisted living facility regulations, compliance, and litigation.

Duties:

• Represent clients in legal proceedings related to nursing home and assisted living facility issues.
• Provide legal counsel and guidance on regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on relevant laws and regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and experts to build strong cases.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Advocate for clients in court, administrative hearings, and settlement negotiations.
• Stay current with changes in healthcare laws and regulations affecting nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and professional service.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing.
• Experience in healthcare law, specifically related to nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
• Proven track record of handling complex litigation and regulatory compliance matters.
• Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy abilities.

Education:
