Job Overview:

This position offers the opportunity to work on complex legal matters, including class actions and mass actions, in a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal research, depositions, trial preparation, and case management, with a strong technical background in legal technology.

Location:

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research on novel and complex issues related to class and mass actions

  • Prepare and take depositions and sworn statements

  • Communicate with clients and witnesses, primarily via telephone

  • Review and analyze documents related to prosecuting claims

  • Draft memoranda of law, affidavits, and various legal documents

  • Collaborate with legal team members for thorough case preparation

  • Utilize technology for case management and workflow optimization

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of civil litigation experience

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: plaintiff data privacy, product liability, toxic tort, antitrust, RICO, consumer protection, class action, or mass action litigation

  • Strong research and writing skills

  • Experience with deposition, exhibit, and trial preparation

  • Technical proficiency with legal research databases, document review platforms, and case management software

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Proficiency with legal technology tools, including Westlaw, Relativity, and case management software

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
