Litigation Associate

Job Overview:

A law firm seeks a skilled and motivated Litigation Associate to join a fast-paced trial team based in Los Angeles. The firm’s litigation practice represents diverse clients in high-stakes matters across several industries, including employment, personal injury, sexual misconduct, and class action litigation. Duties:

• Independently manage cases from initial pleadings through to trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, discovery motions, dispositive motions, and other essential filings.
• Oversee both affirmative and responsive discovery processes.
• Take and defend depositions, including those of experts.
• Participate in court conferences, hearings, and mediations.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategy.
• Prepare for and assist in trial execution.

Requirements:

• Admitted to practice law in California.
• 5-8 years of litigation and trial experience.
• Strong academic background and proven track record in litigation.
• Experience in both State and Federal courts.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• California State Bar admission is required.
