Duties:

  • Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties verbally and in writing.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly.
  • Ensure timely completion of work products while meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
  • Foster positive relationships within the firm and with external stakeholders.
  • Adhere to all firm policies and practices, always maintaining professional conduct.
  • Engage in various activities, including computer work, virtual conference calls, and meetings as required.
  • Perform additional duties, tasks, or projects as assigned by senior attorneys.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in international tax structuring, cross-border transactions planning, and managing multi-jurisdictional projects with significant client interaction.
  • Familiarity with financial statements and models preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Sound business judgment and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team or independently as needed.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, including persuasive communication and influencing abilities.
  • Effective research and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Conceptual thinking and ability to apply legal principles creatively.
  • Management skills or potential to develop management capabilities.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in California (CA).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with tax-specific software and tools is a plus.
  • Fluency in additional languages may be advantageous.
