Duties:

• Evaluate new cases, develop action plans, set budgets, and provide recommendations.
• Review and prepare legal documents, including discovery responses and document production.
• Delegate tasks to paralegals and legal assistants as needed.
• Represent clients at depositions, hearings, and other legal events, providing detailed reports.
• Lead settlement negotiations and assist in trial preparation when necessary.
• Maintain continuous communication with team members to ensure smooth workflow.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in litigation, preferably with a background in insurance defense.
• Must be licensed to practice law in Tennessee.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and eager to learn new database management systems.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent law degree.

Certifications:

• Bar certification in Tennessee is required.
