General Liability Associate Attorney

Chattanooga office of our client seeks a general liability associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The candidate will serve in file review and legal analysis of claims and causes of action. Will have extensive legal research and drafting of substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs. Regularly representing clients in court, at arbitrations, and in depositions. Drafting and responding to discovery requests. Expert witness retention and collaboration. Trial preparation and attendance. Some travel may be required. Admitted to practice in Tennessee, admitted to practice in Georgia a plus.

The candidate should have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Solid research abilities and written and oral communication skills are needed. Strong work ethic, ability to self-manage, and work in a team environment.
