Job Overview: A law firm in Lancaster, PA, is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 year of litigation experience, exceptional academic credentials, and strong advocacy skills.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents.
  • Assist in all discovery phases, including drafting discovery requests and responses, conducting document reviews, and preparing for and attending depositions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
  • Prepare for hearings, trials, and arbitrations, including organizing exhibits, preparing witnesses, and assisting in courtroom proceedings.
  • Manage case files and maintain case documentation.

Requirements:

  • 0-1 year of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Top-notch academic background with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications/Licenses:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
