Senior Private Equity Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Senior Private Equity Finance Associate to join its expanding Private Equity Finance practice in Boston. This role is perfect for attorneys with extensive experience in private credit, acquisition finance, or leveraged finance, who thrive in a high-growth environment and are looking to advance their careers within a supportive, collaborative team.

Duties:

• Represent corporate borrowers, private equity sponsors, and their portfolio companies in various private equity and finance transactions.
• Lead and manage mid-cap and top-tier finance transactions, including acquisition finance, private credit, and leveraged finance.
• Collaborate with a high-performing team to negotiate and draft key finance-related documents.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients, ensuring all transactions align with their business goals.
• Assist in the representation of borrower-side financing, with a focus on private equity sponsors.
• Maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive information in accordance with firm policies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in private credit, acquisition finance, or leveraged finance.
• Proven experience in borrower-side representation, with a preference for those with private equity sponsor experience.
• Strong background in representing corporate borrowers and managing high-volume transactions.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts or eligible for admission.

Skills:

• Exceptional legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Strong client relationship management skills, with a focus on collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple complex transactions in a dynamic environment.
