This position involves advocating for clients who have been injured and handling negotiations, record reviews, depositions, hearings, and trials. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing parties to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Review and analyze medical records, legal documents, and other pertinent information to build strong cases.
  • Prepare for and conduct depositions, hearings, and trials, representing clients in various legal proceedings.
  • Develop and implement case strategies, providing legal advice tailored to the clients' needs.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, offering updates and addressing their concerns.
  • Collaborate with team members and support staff to ensure effective case management and client service.
  • Manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work.
  • Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive client matters.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be admitted to practice law in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, or North Dakota.
  • Previous experience in a professional office environment, preferably in personal injury law.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
