Duties

• Manage litigation files from intake through settlement, arbitration, or trial.
• Provide legal support to clients and assist senior attorneys in litigation.
• Conduct depositions and examinations under oath.
• Prepare detailed legal reports and documents for clients.
• Advocate for clients in court, presenting evidence and arguments effectively.
• Develop discovery strategies and draft related documents.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in Oregon (required).
• Additional license to practice law in Washington (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent legal writing and research abilities.
• Prior experience in litigation is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently in a hybrid work environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Oregon.
• Washington Bar admission is a plus.
