A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to handle a dynamic caseload in estate planning, estate administration, civil litigation, and/or business and real estate law. The role offers the opportunity to independently manage cases, collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals, and engage directly with clients.

Duties

  • Manage assigned cases from inception to resolution, ensuring deadlines and priorities are met.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, estate planning instruments, pleadings, and other case-related materials.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients in areas such as estate planning, administration, civil litigation, and real estate matters.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings as needed.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda and case strategies.
  • Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Utilize law office software to manage time tracking, billing, and case management efficiently.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to handle cases independently while managing competing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client and colleague relationships.
  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, legal forms software, and billing/practice management tools.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in the relevant state.
