General Liability Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Deerfield Beach, FL, is seeking a skilled General Liability Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will handle various general liability matters, including file review, legal analysis, and courtroom representation.

Duties:

• Conduct thorough file reviews and legal analyses of claims and causes of action.
• Perform extensive legal research and draft substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs.
• Maintain an annual billable requirement of 1950 hours.
• Represent clients in court, at arbitrations, and in depositions.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests.
• Coordinate with expert witnesses and manage their retention.
• Prepare for trials and attend as required.
• May involve occasional travel.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in General Liability; experience in other practice areas is advantageous.
• J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Admitted to practice in Florida; admission in other states is a plus.
