Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A boutique real estate law firm is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Associate Litigation Attorney to join its office in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. This role focuses on creditors' rights, title disputes, and bankruptcy litigation. Ideal for attorneys with 1–4 years of litigation experience, this position offers the opportunity to develop professionally while contributing to a busy and growing litigation team.

Location

Duties

• Draft, review, and revise legal pleadings including complaints, motions, and discovery

• Represent clients in court appearances and depositions

• Handle litigation matters related to:

  • Creditors’ rights

  • Title disputes

  • Bankruptcy proceedings

• Prepare discovery requests and responses in advance of deadlines

• Maintain consistent case progress and manage litigation timelines

• Meet a minimum monthly billing requirement of 155 hours (1,860 hours annually)

Requirements

• 1–4 years of litigation experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure

• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multitask

• Demonstrated courtroom and deposition experience preferred

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Georgia

• Licensure in Tennessee, Alabama, and/or Mississippi preferred (but not required)
