A law firm seeks an experienced Estate Planning & Probate Litigation Attorney to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with senior leadership and assist clients through complex, emotional legal processes. Duties

  • Handle a wide range of civil litigation matters in the areas of estate planning and probate.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
  • Collaborate closely with paralegals and senior attorneys to drive case progress.
  • Develop legal strategies based on client needs and provide counsel throughout legal processes.
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
  • Maintain open and clear communication with clients to explain strategies and court processes.
  • Manage individual case files independently, ensuring all legal documents are filed promptly and accurately.
  • Adhere to legal compliance requirements and ethical standards in all case handling.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably within estate planning or probate law.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Proven ability to manage cases with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with Oklahoma legal procedures is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, especially in high-stress or emotional situations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the Oklahoma State Bar.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Oklahoma.
