Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join its growing team. As an Immigration Attorney, you will manage a diverse caseload, work closely with clients, and contribute to the success of the firm's immigration practice.

Duties:

  • Handle and manage CP/Waiver cases, including I-130, I-601A, I-212, I-601, consular processing, and K-Visa cases.
  • Guide clients through their consulate interviews and ensure they are well-prepared.
  • Represent clients in proceedings before USCIS.
  • Review immigration applications and packets prepared by the team.
  • Supervise and lead a team of paralegals to achieve productivity goals and meet client expectations.
  • Provide detailed legal analysis to assess possible case benefits and outcomes.
  • Draft and submit legal briefs for a variety of immigration-related cases.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in Immigration Law.
  • Admission to the Texas Bar is required.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload and move cases forward effectively.
  • Experience with Consular Processing applications and Waivers.
  • Proficiency with case management software is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of immigration law and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent client management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
