Duties

  • Handle all aspects of patent litigation in federal courts and administrative proceedings

  • Draft motions, pleadings, and briefs in complex IP cases

  • Lead or support discovery efforts, including depositions and expert witness coordination

  • Collaborate closely with clients, technical experts, and cross-functional legal teams

  • Contribute to case strategy development and execution

  • Participate in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of patent litigation experience at a leading law firm

  • Proven ability to manage multiple facets of IP litigation cases

  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience in managing junior associates and case teams is a plus

Education

  • Undergraduate and/or advanced degree in a technical field such as:

    • Engineering

    • Computer Science

    • Chemistry

    • Biology

    • Physics

    • Or a closely related scientific discipline

Certifications

  • Admission to practice law in California.
