Location:

Duties:

  • Represent lenders and investors in permanent, construction, and mezzanine loan transactions
  • Handle transactions involving various property types, including healthcare, auto, commercial, office, multifamily, retail, and industrial properties
  • Manage acquisitions, dispositions, and negotiations of commercial leases (office, retail, warehouse, and industrial)
  • Collaborate with shareholders and participate in business development activities
  • Provide excellent client service in all aspects of real estate finance transactions

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in real estate finance, representing lenders and investors
  • Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, and negotiating commercial leases
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Strong academic credentials and a J.D. degree (or equivalent)
  • Admission to the Illinois Bar (or taking steps to become admitted) and in good standing

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Illinois Bar (or in the process of admission)

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of real estate finance transactions
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to handle complex transactions efficiently
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
