Job Description

Duties:

  • Assist senior attorneys in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motions, trial preparation, and trial.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda, motions, and pleadings.
  • Participate in depositions, court appearances, and client meetings.
  • Review and analyze documents for relevance and privilege.
  • Prepare and respond to written discovery requests.
  • Manage case files and ensure all documentation is current and organized.
  • Provide updates and reports on case progress to clients and senior attorneys.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to develop case strategies and litigation plans.
  • Attend and represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of litigation experience.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Member in good standing of the California State Bar.
  • Proven experience in legal research and drafting legal documents.
  • Strong understanding of California civil procedure and court rules.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
