Job Title: Patent Associate Attorney

  • Provide tailored advice related to invention disclosure, IP lifecycle, and innovation strategy

  • Interpret technical specifications to ensure thorough, defensible patent claims

  • Support broader IP litigation or licensing efforts as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in patent preparation and prosecution

  • Prior exposure to technologies such as wireless systems, communication standards, electrical engineering applications, semiconductors, cloud infrastructure, or wearable tech

  • Admission to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both legal and non-legal audiences

  • Strong time management skills and ability to contribute to a collaborative legal team

Education:

  • Bachelors or advanced degree in one of the following:

    • Electrical Engineering

    • Computer Engineering

    • Computer Science

    • Physics

    • Mechanical Engineering

    • A closely related technical discipline

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

  • Registration with the USPTO required
