Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is seeking a highly skilled Technical Advisor for its Patent Prosecution & Litigation Practice Group, specializing in Electrical Engineering & Software. This role involves providing technical expertise in the areas of patent prosecution and litigation, and working closely with attorneys and clients to handle complex intellectual property matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field, with experience in wireless communication technologies.

Duties:

• Assist in drafting patent applications and responses to office actions.
• Collaborate with attorneys to evaluate the patentability of inventions.
• Provide technical support in patent litigation cases, including analysis of prior art and patent infringement issues.
• Stay current with developments in wireless communications, particularly 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards.
• Review technical documents and prepare reports for clients and internal teams.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of patent strategies for clients in the electrical engineering and software fields.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience in wireless communications, particularly 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards, is preferred.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Exceptional written and oral communication abilities.
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.

Education:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
