Job Title: Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A reputable law firm in Omaha, NE is seeking an experienced and driven Associate Attorney to join its team. This role requires a collaborative professional who can contribute expertise, supervise support staff, and maintain high standards of legal representation for clients navigating personal injury cases.

Duties:

  • Oversee personal injury caseloads throughout the pre-litigation process.
  • Engage in negotiations and interactions with insurance companies.
  • Maintain consistent and positive communication with clients.
  • Draft and review various legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements.
  • Ensure accuracy and adherence to legal standards in all prepared documents.
  • Monitor compliance with all applicable legal regulations.

Requirements:

  • Active Bar license in Nebraska with a minimum of 1 year of civil practice experience.
  • Preferred: Active Bar license in Missouri.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Completion of all necessary continuing legal education (CLE) requirements.

Certifications:

  • Active membership with the Nebraska Bar Association.
  • Additional certification for Missouri Bar (preferred).
