The successful candidate will handle client communications and stay current on legal changes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work on a diverse range of legal matters with frequent court appearances.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on various cases.
• Assist in drafting legal documents, correspondence, and briefs.
• Participate in negotiations and settlements to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Support senior attorneys in trial preparation, including gathering evidence and preparing exhibits.
• Attend court appearances to represent clients and handle legal proceedings.
• Manage client communications, providing updates and addressing inquiries.
• Handle case management tasks, including organizing case files and tracking deadlines.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to criminal law and immigration post-conviction relief.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar association (California).
• Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:
