A law firm seeks Associates with 0 to 5 years of experience to join its commercial litigation, construction law, and private/public contract law practice. This position provides immediate opportunities for client contact and substantive responsibility, including appearances before courts and governmental bodies. The firm has an active litigation practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and Florida, and is looking for both immediate hires and September 2025 start dates for 3Ls and current judicial law clerks.

Duties:

  • Handle all aspects of assigned matters, including court appearances and government body representation.
  • Engage in commercial litigation, construction law, and contract law cases.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents.
  • Manage discovery processes and conduct depositions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategies.
  • Maintain communication with clients, providing updates and legal counsel.

Requirements:

  • 0 to 5 years of experience in commercial litigation, construction law, or contract law.
  • Strong legal writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage cases and meet deadlines.
  • New Jersey bar admission or eligibility for admission on motion is required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New Jersey State Bar (required or eligibility for admission on motion).
