Job Overview: A law firm in Lone Tree, CO, is seeking a dedicated Litigation Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse caseload, representing clients in various litigation matters focusing on general litigation, foreclosure, and REO-related cases. This role requires strong advocacy skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Duties:

  • Manage cases from assignment to conclusion, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Draft court pleadings, legal memoranda, and correspondence.
  • Oversee discovery matters, including conducting depositions, filings, and motion defense.
  • Independently represent clients at court hearings (live and telephonic) and mediations.
  • Conduct internal and external training on legal topics as required.
  • Communicate directly with clients, providing updates and addressing inquiries promptly.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of jurisdiction experience in general litigation, ideally with exposure to foreclosure and REO-related litigation.
  • Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.
  • Admitted to all Federal District Courts within Colorado or willing to obtain admission.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage a busy caseload effectively.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.
  • Admission to all Federal District Courts within Colorado preferred or willing to obtain.
