Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and handle a caseload of Workers' Compensation claims from inception to resolution.
  • Develop and implement effective litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
  • Review and analyze medical records, legal documents, and evidence to support case development.
  • Draft legal pleadings, motions, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to facilitate case progress.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Workers' Compensation laws, regulations, and case law.
  • Ensure compliance with all procedural and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide excellent client service through regular updates and responsive communication.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar and a Member in Good Standing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Workers' Compensation defense experience preferred.
  • Strong writing skills and experience in reviewing medical records.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • Experience working or schooling in a virtual environment preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar and maintained membership in good standing.
