Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Finance and Restructuring Bankruptcy Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing abilities, outstanding academic credentials, and the capacity to handle numerous tasks with minimal supervision.

Duties:

  • Assist in all aspects of bankruptcy and restructuring matters, including case preparation, court filings, and client communication.
  • Conduct legal research and draft various legal documents such as motions, briefs, and pleadings.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide support during negotiations and court proceedings.
  • Analyze financial documents, contracts, and other relevant materials to support client representation.
  • Attend hearings, meetings, and other case-related events as necessary.
  • Maintain organized case files and documentation to ensure compliance with firm and court standards.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Delaware State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • 2-4 years of experience in bankruptcy and restructuring law at a reputable law firm or relevant legal environment.
  • Strong understanding of bankruptcy and restructuring laws, procedures, and best practices.
  • Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, ethics, and client service excellence.

Education:
