A law firm located in Fort Lee, NJ, is seeking an experienced Senior Bankruptcy Lawyer to manage bankruptcy accounts, ensure compliance with legal standards, and provide expert legal guidance in bankruptcy matters, specifically within the financial services sector. This role requires a deep understanding of bankruptcy laws, and financial processes, and the ability to collaborate across teams to resolve complex cases.

Duties

  • Review and analyze bankruptcy documentation to determine the best course of action.
  • Communicate with attorneys, trustees, and debtors regarding bankruptcy proceedings.
  • Monitor bankruptcy accounts to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address bankruptcy-related inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Stay informed of up-to-date bankruptcy laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience is required.

  • Prior experience in the financial services sector or a related field is preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
