Job Overview: A law firm in Winston Salem, NC, is seeking a Senior Tax Associate Attorney or Junior Partner with transactional tax experience to join its team. Duties:

  • Assist in structuring private investment fund formations and investments from a tax perspective.

  • Research tax laws, regulations, and rulings to provide accurate and up-to-date advice.
  • Draft legal documents, including memoranda, opinions, and transactional documents related to tax matters.

Requirements:

  • Outstanding academic credentials, preferably with a focus on tax law.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a law firm environment on complex U.S. and international tax law matters.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • LL.M. in Taxation preferred.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
