Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its dynamic Insurance Coverage Practice Group. This opportunity involves handling complex insurance coverage disputes, providing legal guidance, and representing clients in various coverage-related matters. Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and write comprehensive coverage opinions on a variety of insurance-related matters
• Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes, including cases involving Commercial General Liability (CGL), advertising injury, Directors & Officers (D&O) liability, professional liability, workers' compensation, and first-party property
• Manage and litigate insurance coverage cases, including researching, drafting pleadings, and presenting legal arguments
• Conduct legal research to support litigation strategies and case preparation
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients to strategize and resolve disputes
• Draft and argue motions, conduct depositions, and participate in trials and hearings
• Assist in the negotiation and settlement of insurance coverage disputes when appropriate
• Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all aspects of case management

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance coverage law
• Active membership in the California State Bar
• Proven experience handling insurance coverage cases, including litigation and coverage analysis
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive legal arguments
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active California State Bar License

• Expertise in insurance coverage law and related litigation
• Strong research, writing, and legal drafting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
