Job Overview

A law firm in The Woodlands, TX, seeks a dedicated and skilled Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of litigation experience, demonstrating strong writing and analytical skills, excellent academic credentials, and a genuine interest in courtroom appearances. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in complex litigation matters in court and during settlement negotiations.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Prepare and execute discovery plans, including depositions and interrogatories.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and arguments.
  • Manage case files and ensure timely completion of legal tasks.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on case progress and developments.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering presentations and oral arguments in court.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of litigation experience.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.
  • A desire to appear in court and engage in litigation activities.
  • Experience in healthcare and energy litigation is preferred.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Current and valid license to practice law in the state of Texas.
