Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and handle a caseload of Workers' Compensation claims from start to finish.
  • Work closely with an experienced Partner to develop and implement effective litigation strategies.
  • Review and analyze medical records, legal documents, and evidence to build strong cases.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence, with precision.
  • Represent clients in administrative hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to ensure smooth case progress.
  • Stay updated on Workers' Compensation laws, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and procedural requirements.
  • Provide exceptional client service through timely updates and effective problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar and active membership in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Workers' Compensation defense preferred.
  • Strong writing skills with experience in reviewing medical records.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • Experience working or schooling in a virtual environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar and maintained membership in good standing.
