Bankruptcy Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Wilmington, DE, seeks a skilled Bankruptcy Litigation Associate Attorney with experience in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and creditors' rights litigation. The position offers an opportunity to work on complex bankruptcy matters in a dynamic legal environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, including creditors' committees, debtors, and other parties-in-interest.
• Handle creditors' rights litigation, including adversary proceedings and contested matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and participate in bankruptcy hearings and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar license; Delaware bar admission preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience specifically in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and creditors' rights litigation.
• Superior academic credentials, including strong performance in bankruptcy-related coursework.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
