Duties

  • Oversee residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales and refinances.
  • Review title and ensure all documentation is accurate.
  • Collaborate with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Draft and/or review loan documents, including contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase and sale agreements.
  • Deliver a professional and client-focused experience, addressing client concerns and questions throughout the process.
  • Review disbursement ledgers and sign checks.
  • Cultivate and develop business relationships to enhance firm growth.
  • Conduct training for potential clients on relevant areas of real estate law.

Requirements

  • Residential real estate experience preferred (training available for the right candidate).
  • Member of the South Carolina State Bar in good standing.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to community involvement and business development.
  • Strong work ethic, demonstrated in academic and professional history.
  • Growth-oriented, with a focus on residential real estate.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
