Duties:

• Represent clients in defense litigation cases including Auto, Professional, Premises, General Liability, and Medical/Dental Malpractice.
• Attend court hearings and trials, either in person or virtually.
• Draft legal documents, motions, and briefs with precision and clarity.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals and team members to develop case strategies.
• Maintain accurate case files and document all client communications.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and case developments to provide effective legal counsel.
• Provide exceptional client service and maintain professional relationships.

Requirements:

• Active California and/or Nevada State Bar license.
• 0-2 years of experience in insurance defense or a similar legal field.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Proven ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge and proficiency in legal research, technical platforms, and case management software.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the California and/or Nevada State Bar.

Skills:

• Litigation and trial experience (desired but not required).
• Legal writing and research proficiency.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex legal information.
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
