A reputable law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team remotely from Brunswick, GA. Duties:

  • Review new cases to determine action plans, and budgets, and provide recommendations.
  • Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as necessary.
  • Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
  • Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
  • Negotiate settlements, obtain necessary authorities, and prepare for trial when required.
  • Maintain consistent communication with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure smooth case management.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of litigation experience, with a preference for insurance defense.
  • Active license to practice law in Georgia.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills with clients, colleagues, and staff.
