Duties:

  • Lead the drafting and negotiation of definitive and ancillary documents for mergers and acquisitions transactions.

  • Supervise and mentor junior associates, providing guidance on complex legal matters and fostering professional development.
  • Handle day-to-day demands related to various mergers and acquisitions matters, including due diligence, regulatory compliance, and transactional support.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the state bar of Georgia.
  • 6-8 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions law.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and transactions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High degree of maturity and business sense.

  • Experience working in a large regional, national, or international law firm.
  • Familiarity with the legal landscape in Georgia and surrounding regions.
  • Additional certifications or advanced degrees related to corporate law or mergers and acquisitions.
