A law firm in Atlanta is seeking a Regulatory Investigations, Strategy, and Enforcement Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate will focus on state and federal regulatory litigation, including consumer class litigation and administrative litigation. This position demands excellent academic credentials, superior research and writing abilities, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Duties:

  • Handle state and federal regulatory litigation, including cases involving federal regulatory agencies and state Attorneys General.
  • Engage in administrative litigation and Administrative Procedure Act challenges.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies and case management plans.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and hearings related to regulatory matters.
  • Stay updated on changes in relevant laws, regulations, and case law affecting clients.
  • Provide timely updates to clients regarding case developments and legal options.
  • Assist in the training and mentorship of junior associates and interns.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 3-6 years of experience in litigation, preferably with a focus on regulatory matters.
  • Active member in good standing with the Bar of the state in which the candidate will practice, or the ability to waive into that Bar.

Certifications:

  • Clerkship experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal court practices across the country is essential.
