Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience

A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its team in Vienna, VA. This family-run practice, with over 25 years of experience, specializes in immigration, family law, personal injury, bankruptcy, and civil litigation. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter eager to take ownership of cases and contribute to the firm’s growth.

Duties:

• Manage and represent clients in immigration and bankruptcy cases.
• Conduct legal research and prepare necessary documentation.
• Appear in court and advocate for clients effectively.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and take on significant responsibilities.
• Interact professionally with clients, ensuring their needs are met.

Requirements:

• Active Virginia Bar license is required.
• Organized, punctual, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude towards all tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Virginia Bar admission; Maryland and/or DC Bar admission is preferred.

• Fluency in Spanish, Urdu/Hindi, or Arabic is preferred.
