Associate Attorney needed for New York City office

Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-2 years of litigation experience in casualty defense, premises liability, and automobile liability. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with a Senior Partner on assigned cases.

Location:

Duties:

• Assist with drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery demands and responses.
• Support the discovery process by administering depositions, issuing interrogatories, and reviewing documents.
• Conduct legal research.
• Make court appearances as required.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed to practice law in New York.
• 1-2 years of litigation experience in casualty defense, premises liability, or automobile liability.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Excellent academic background.

Certifications:

• Active New York bar admission.

Skills:

• Strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
