Trial Attorney Personal Injury

Job Overview: A prominent civil litigation law firm is seeking a highly motivated Trial Attorney with experience in plaintiff-side personal injury and school/government liability cases. The successful candidate will manage a large volume of cases, lead trial preparation, and take responsibility for client interactions. This position requires an attorney with a strong passion for trial work, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to advocate zealously on behalf of clients. Location:

• Los Angeles, CA

Duties:

• Manage cases from the filing of the complaint through to trial.
• Lead and provide guidance to the litigation team.
• Take depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Review and provide feedback on drafted documents from staff and associates.
• Develop and execute trial strategies and preparations.
• Prepare and strategize Motions in Limine and related trial documents.
• Negotiate settlements and manage settlement/dispositive proceedings (mediations, arbitrations, etc.).
• Act as First and Second Chair in jury trials.
• Handle post-trial motions.
• Provide legal opinions and counsel to clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in personal injury litigation.
• At least 3-5 trials as First Chair.
• Active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to handle a large caseload while meeting deadlines.
• Expertise in legal research, analysis, and writing.
• Law and motion experience.
• Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Compassion and a strong commitment to advocating for clients.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
