Duties:

  • Assist the senior immigration partner in managing the immigration department

  • Provide legal counsel on various immigration matters

  • Manage and mentor staff members within the department

  • Handle immigration cases, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations

  • Support the firm in delivering high-quality legal services to clients, with a focus on the Brazilian and Hispanic communities

  • Participate in the firm’s growth and development by embracing technology and efficient practices

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in immigration law

  • Prior experience managing or supervising staff

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

  • Strong understanding of immigration case management processes

  • Must be barred (MA Bar not required)

  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Valid Bar License (required)

Skills:

  • Expertise in immigration law

  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities

  • Proficiency with case management software (preferably Filevine) and intake tools (HubSpot)

  • Tech-savvy with a drive to work smarter, not harder
