Trust/Estate Planning Associate Attorney

Job Overview:

A law firm in Modesto, CA, is seeking an experienced Associate Trust & Estate Planning Attorney to join its team. This role involves handling estate planning and probate matters while integrating aspects of commercial real estate, corporate transactions, and business tax advisory. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage existing clients while also working independently on complex legal matters.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on estate planning and probate law.

• Draft wills, trusts, and related estate planning documents.

• Manage probate administration and trust administration processes.

• Advise clients on tax implications related to estate planning.

• Handle corporate transactions and commercial real estate matters as needed.

• Develop and maintain client and referral relationships.

• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• 4 to 7 years of experience in estate planning and probate law.

• Strong background in corporate transactions, real estate, and tax advisory is a plus.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple client matters.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active state bar license (California).
