Job Overview: A law firm seeks an experienced Senior Corporate Associate Attorney specializing in mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in leading the drafting and negotiation of definitive and ancillary documents, managing the deal process and client relationships, and supervising junior associates. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to manage internal and external client relationships are essential for success in this role. Prior experience in a large regional, national, or international law firm is preferred.

Duties:

  • Lead the drafting and negotiation of definitive and ancillary documents for mergers and acquisitions transactions.
  • Manage the deal process and client relationships effectively.
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates in mergers and acquisitions matters.
  • Handle day-to-day demands on various mergers and acquisitions-related issues.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions.
  • Strong mergers and acquisitions skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High degree of maturity and business sense.
  • Ability to effectively manage internal and external client relationships.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas or eligibility for admission by motion.
