Complex Construction Litigation Special Counsel

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a highly skilled Complex Construction Litigation Special Counsel specializing in Complex Construction Cases. The ideal candidate will oversee multi-party litigation involving construction defect matters and demonstrate a solid ability to work independently and confidently.

Job Duties:

• Manage multi-party litigation cases involving construction defect matters.
• Conduct research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to litigation.
• Conducted and defended depositions and participated in trials or evidentiary hearings as required.
• Handle discovery processes efficiently and effectively.
• Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients throughout the litigation process.
• Analyze insurance risk transfer issues related to property damage claims.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of litigation experience, focusing on construction law.
• Demonstrated proficiency in oratory, legal research, and persuasive writing skills.
• Significant courtroom or arbitration experience.
• JD degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
• Board Certification in Construction Law by the Florida Bar (preferred).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
