The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance coverage and commercial litigation, with expertise in handling professional liability, general liability, and directors' and officers' insurance policies. Duties:

• Handle complex insurance coverage and reinsurance disputes
• Represent clients in both litigation and advisory capacities
• Conduct detailed research and draft legal documents, including memoranda and briefs
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
• Communicate with clients to provide regular updates and guidance
• Maintain a high level of client service and attention to detail
• Stay informed of developments in insurance law to provide strategic advice

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation
• Strong understanding of professional liability, general liability, and D&O insurance policies
• Proven track record of effective legal research and writing
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, preferably Virginia
