A law firm in Charlotte is seeking a Securitization Finance Associate Attorney with a focus on structured financings involving a variety of financial assets. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in diverse structured finance transactions.

 

Job Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel on structured finance transactions, including trade receivables securitizations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate securitization documents and related agreements.
  • Advise clients on structured finance transactions involving various financial assets.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on securitization and structured finance transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve complex finance-related issues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and legal developments impacting securitization and structured finance.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to support client goals and objectives.
  • Participate in client meetings and provide ongoing legal support to clients.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the North Carolina State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • 4+ years of structured finance and securitization experience, preferably focused on lender-side private warehouse and trade receivables financings.
  • Capital markets experience is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Certifications (Preferred):

Certification in Finance Law or Securities Law from a recognized legal association or institution.

  • Superior written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in legal research, drafting legal documents, and negotiating complex agreements.
