Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm in Los Angeles, CA, seeks an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its thriving Insurance Coverage Practice Group. This role involves providing coverage analysis and handling litigation for various insurance coverage disputes, including CGL, advertising injury, D&O, professional liability, workers’ compensation, and first-party property cases. The position offers a collaborative work environment with opportunities for direct client engagement, motion arguments, depositions, and trial participation. A hybrid schedule may be available.

Duties:

• Analyze and interpret insurance policies to assess coverage issues.

• Draft detailed coverage opinions and reservation of rights letters.

• Handle insurance coverage litigation, including motion practice, discovery, and depositions.

• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials and appeals.

• Collaborate with legal teams on complex coverage matters.

• Engage directly with clients to provide strategic legal guidance.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of insurance coverage experience.

• Strong analytical, research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-driven environment.

• Active California Bar license.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in the state of California.

Skills:
