A law firm seeks an experienced Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Philadelphia office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside dynamic legal professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment, focusing on various aspects of commercial litigation.

Duties

  • Manage the strategic and high-level elements of multiple legal matters at different stages, from initiation to resolution.
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail while effectively communicating with both clients and attorneys.
  • Work independently and proactively, showing a strong commitment to a career in litigation.
  • Produce high-quality legal work while maintaining productivity standards to ensure exceptional client service.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in good standing in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania; candidates with significant experience in federal litigation may be considered if licensed in only one state. Preference will be given to those also licensed in Delaware or New York.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience as a licensed attorney in a law firm setting, with a preference for candidates with 3 or more years of commercial litigation experience.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.

Certifications

  • Must maintain applicable license renewal and continuing legal education (CLE) requirements.

Skills

  • Strong decision-making abilities regarding client matters, with a willingness to consult with other attorneys as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored for both internal and external clients.
